Last year, I went to Bohol with my friends. It was a memorable trip. I really wish I spend those kind of trips with my family someday. On our way to Bohol, my poetic instinct creeped through me again while everybody had slept. It always happen to me when Im alone. It was dedicated to my little sister Monna. When I gave it to her, I didnt really think she likes it (",) but im sure someday she'll realize that it is indeed(oh really? hehe) a nice poem, hopefully. Here it is:
Monna Fair
Eyes of star so fair,
Peep from beauty's lair;
Mouth of praising curves,
Lover's heart absorbs.
Will I kiss this air,
For you Monna Fair?
Stare at her beauty,
Full of love's bounty;
Gleaming as you see,
Pearl of vast sea;
Allow me to stare
At you Monna Fair.
Wood nymph of figure
And maiden's allure;
Glow of noble breast,
Rays of heaven's nest;
These stars I bear
To offer Monna Fair.
